Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our team in Topeka, KS. The role provides direct personal care to hospice patients in home settings, following the patient’s Plan of Care under RN supervision.

You will assist with daily activities, monitor patient well-being, document care accurately, and ensure comfort and dignity. State-regulated tasks and HIPAA compliance are required alongside reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active CNA license in the state of practice.
• Ability to pass background check, consumer report and drug test.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid state driver’s license and access to a car with adequate insurance and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, and linen changes.
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and exercises as directed by nursing staff.
• Support meals, feeding, and light household tasks.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to the RN Case Manager.
