Job summary

St. Croix Hospice is seeking a dedicated Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our interdisciplinary care team, delivering compassionate, hands-on care to patients in their homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

You will support personal care, monitor patients, document services, and help maintain comfort and dignity during end-of-life care. This full-time role involves travel to patient homes throughout the day and occasional weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and auto insurance.
• Ability to provide personal care and daily living assistance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and dressing.
• Record vital signs and report observations to the care team.
• Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as needed.
• Promote patient comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Travel to patient homes throughout the day and provide scheduled care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
