Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our home health team in Nederland, TX. This role focuses on helping patients regain movement and reduce pain in the comfort of their homes, with flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment.

We value evidence-based care, strong communication, and the ability to adapt treatment approaches to individual patient needs. Active TX licensure, liability insurance, and a graduate degree in Physical Therapy are required;

Qualifications

• Active TX Physical Therapist license required.
• Professional liability insurance coverage for Texas license.
• Graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Excellent communication skills when educating patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients in a home health setting to assess abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes using digital systems.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists.
• Conduct home safety assessments and recommend fall-prevention measures.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care promoting independence.
