PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our home health team in Hughes Springs, TX. The PT will evaluate patients in their homes, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to improve function and reduce pain.

The ideal candidate holds an active TX PT license, a graduate degree in Physical Therapy, and loves educating patients and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Physical Therapist license.
• Professional liability insurance coverage for TX PT license.
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred.
• Ability to adapt care approaches to diverse patients.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate patients' physical abilities in a home health setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes digitally.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and OTs as part of the team.
• Conduct home safety assessments and prevent falls or re-injury.
• Deliver compassionate care to empower patient independence.
