Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join our home health team in Longview, TX. This onsite role focuses on evaluating patients, creating personalized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based care in patients’ homes.

Candidates should hold a Texas PT license, possess professional liability insurance, and have a graduate degree in Physical Therapy. Home health experience is preferred, with strong communication and adaptability across varied patient needs.

Qualifications

• Active TX Physical Therapist license.
• Professional liability insurance coverage in TX.
• Graduate degree in Physical Therapy from accredited program.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt care approaches.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and adaptive strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as necessary to achieve outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes using digital platforms.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists.
• Conduct home safety assessments and make fall-prevention recommendations.
• Deliver compassionate care while empowering patients toward independence.
