PARS Therapy in Northwest Houston, TX is hiring a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) for home health. You will evaluate patients, design individualized plans, and provide interventions to improve mobility and reduce pain in patients' homes.

Collaboration with physicians, nurses, and therapists is essential. Requirements include an active TX PT license, liability insurance, and a graduate degree in Physical Therapy.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in TX
• Professional liability insurance coverage for TX license
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and adaptive strategies
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes
• Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes using digital platforms
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists
• Conduct home safety assessments and make fall-prevention recommendations
• Deliver compassionate care to empower patients toward greater independence
