Caretenders Home Health, part of the Optum family, is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients in their homes under a supervising PT. You will follow the plan of care, provide exercise instructions, and educate patients and families.

We value compassionate care, teamwork, and reliability. Candidate must hold PTA licensure, have a valid driver's license and expect weekend rotations; compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities within UnitedHealth Group.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in physical therapy
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance or access to reliable transportation
• Available to work a weekend rotation

Responsabilités

• Follow state laws and supervising PT plan of care; perform only authorized procedures
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfer, and mobility training
• Observe and report patient responses; coordinate care with healthcare team
• Educate patient, family, caregiver and other team members on therapy within PTA scope
• Function effectively in home settings regardless of age, race, creed, or disability
