Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
• Available to work a weekend rotation

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws governing provision of physical therapy in home care; follow plan of care defined by supervising PT
• Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfer, and prosthetic training
• Observe, record, and report patient responses; coordinate care with health care team
• Instruct patient, family, caregiver, and others in therapy within scope of PTA
• Function in any home situation regardless of patient demographics
