Job summary

Everstory Partners in Riverview, FL is seeking a Sales Counselor who guides families through funeral and cemetery decisions with compassion. You will sell pre-need and at-need services, manage a pipeline, respond to inbound inquiries, and build community relationships while earning commissions based on performance.

The role requires strong communication, relationship-building, and reliable follow-through, with a paid training period and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Strong sales communication, relationship-building, negotiation, consultative selling, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and recommend appropriate funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through lead generation, outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, customer inquiries, and walk-in opportunities.
• Conduct follow-up with prospective customers throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers, families, and members of the local community.
• Explain products, services, pricing, and available options in a clear and compassionate manner.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete required sales contracts and documentation.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, customer relationships, appointments, follow-up activity, and sales opportunities throughout the sales process.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
• Participate in community events, networking opportunities, and offsite customer appointments.
• Partner with funeral home, cemetery, operations, and location leadership teams to provide a positive customer experience.
