Job summary

Everstory Partners in Beverly Hills, MI is looking for a Sales Counselor who will guide individuals and families through funeral and cemetery options with a compassionate, consultative approach.

You will build a sales pipeline through inbound leads, walk-ins, referrals, and community outreach, while maintaining relationships and following up on opportunities. Commission details vary with performance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of sales or relationship-based experience preferred.
• Experience with CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven sales environment including prospecting and lead generation.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a personal vehicle for local appointments.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and recommend appropriate funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through lead generation, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, customer inquiries, and walk-in opportunities.
• Conduct follow-up with prospective customers throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers, families, and members of the local community.
• Explain products, pricing, and available options in a clear and compassionate manner.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete required sales contracts and documentation.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, customer relationships, appointments, follow-up activity, and sales opportunities throughout the sales process.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
• Participate in community events, networking opportunities, and offsite customer appointments.
• Partner with funeral home, cemetery, operations, and location leadership teams to provide a positive customer experience.
