Newcomer Funeral Service Group in Massillon, Ohio seeks an Advance Planning Specialist who shares our Core Values to help families plan ahead by arranging funeral and cremation services before need.

This sales position features a base salary, commissions, bonuses and benefits. You will connect with prospective families, follow up on leads, build referral networks and balance compassion with results, while representing Newcomer with professionalism and care.

Qualifications

• Qualified applicants will possess a high school diploma (associate’s degree or higher preferred).
• One year of experience in sales or related area.
• Must be a licensed insurance agent or able to acquire licenses.
• Enjoy working with people and helping them select services and merchandise.
• Basic office and computer skills; strong organizational skills and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals and families plan ahead by making funeral and cremation arrangements prior to need.
• Connect with prospective families, follow up on leads and identify opportunities to help more people.
• Develop local community connections, build referral networks and represent Newcomer professionally.
• Balance compassion with results to meet sales goals and provide a respectful experience.
