Job summary

Everstory Partners in Hamilton, OH is seeking a Sales Counselor to guide families through funeral and cemetery product choices with care and consultation.

In this role you will build a robust sales pipeline via inbound leads, walk-ins, and community outreach, while managing customer activity in HubSpot CRM. Earnings include commissions with a guaranteed minimum or hourly base, plus paid training during the first six weeks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency a plus (Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, or Arabic).
• 1 year of experience in sales or related relationship-based roles preferred.
• Experience with CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
• Commission-based, performance-driven environment with prospecting and lead generation.
• Strong sales communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple leads and appointments; proficient with email and Microsoft Office.
• Must have valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for local visits; mileage reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through lead generation, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, inquiries, and walk-ins; follow up throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and the local community.
• Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately.
