Job summary

InnovAge Driver – Participant Care in Albuquerque is responsible for safe transportation of frail and elderly participants to Day Centers and appointments, with some field trips and home meal deliveries. The role requires loading/unloading participants, assisting with mobility, and coordinating with dispatch on routes.

The position is Monday through Friday with rotating Saturday/holiday shifts; applicants must have DOT/Defensive Driving experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability

Qualifications

• DOT experience required.
• Defensive driving skills required.
• At least 1 year of experience with frail or elderly.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drives InnovAge vehicles safely and follows routes.
• Loads/unloads participants and assists in/out of vehicles.
• Transports participants to pre-arranged appointments.
• Delivers in-home meals, supplies and medications to participants.
• Maintains safety and cleanliness of vehicle and coordinates maintenance.
