InnovAge Driver – Participant Care drives InnovAge vehicles to transport frail and elderly participants to Day Centers and appointments, delivers meals and supplies, and assists with in-home care. The role requires safe driving, adherence to policies, and teamwork within the PACE program.

The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays and holidays on a rotating basis; lifting up to 75 pounds is required and a valid CDL with passenger endorsement is preferred where

Qualificações

• DOT and Defensive Driving experience.
• One year of experience working with the frail or elderly.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience may substitute.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 75 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Drive InnovAge vehicles safely and follow policies, procedures and routes.
• Load/unload participants and assist them into/out of homes.
• Transport participants to pre-arranged appointments.
• Deliver in-home meals, supplies and medications to participants.
• Assist participants with simple tasks and movement as needed and appropriate.
• Keep Dispatch updated on events of assigned routes.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of vehicles and coordinate maintenance with the Transportation Manager.
• Assist other drivers with loading/unloading at centers.
• Participate in interdisciplinary Care Plans for PACE participants.
