Job summary

InnovAge Driver – Participant Care provides transportation for frail and elderly participants to Day Centers, appointments, and field trips, and delivers in-home meals and supplies. It also involves pre/post trip inspections and adherence to safety protocols.

The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, loading/unloading participants, and assisting them at their homes, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional Saturday/holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• DOT and Defensive Driving experience required.
• One year of experience with frail or elderly.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Drive InnovAge vehicles safely and follow policies and routes.
• Assist participants into/out of vehicles and homes.
• Transport participants to pre-arranged appointments.
• Deliver in-home meals, supplies, and medications to participants.
• Coordinate with dispatch and keep vehicle clean and maintained.
• Participate in Plans of Care and interdisciplinary team discussions.
