Job summary

Hope Network / New Center is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the 2nd shift (32 hours) on-site in Flint, MI. The role supports individuals in daily living activities, community integration, and skill-building, with emphasis on safety and independence.

You will participate in health management, mobility support, and vocational/social activities, reporting to care teams, and contributing to someone’s personal development and community participation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid State of Michigan driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and become CPR/First Aid certified.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety 24/7 with various methods (eyes-on, one-on-one, 15 or 30 minute checks).
• Assist in crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution.
• Build trust through consistent, meaningful communication with individuals served.
