Job summary

Hope Network in Lapeer, MI is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Milleville Place on the 2nd shift (part-time, 24 hours). You will support individuals with daily living, mobility, communication, and community participation, helping them pursue independence and a fulfilling life.

You’ll monitor safety, assist with activities of daily living, attend medical appointments, document care plans, and connect the person served with community opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Valid State of Michigan driver's license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or required.
• Shift availability includes weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety 24/7 and support daily living.
• Assist in mobility, bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Support crisis prevention and behavior management.
• Attend medical appointments and relay information to care team.
• Document plans accurately and timely.
• Help individuals engage in social and community activities.
