Job summary

Evergreen Life Services is seeking a caregiver to maintain a healthy, safe, and therapeutic environment for individuals served and to follow their care plans. Responsibilities include assisting with medications, daily living activities, budgeting, and transportation, with documentation in accordance with state agencies and organization policies.

This role emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to standards, and ability to work flexible shifts across various settings.

Qualifications

• Effective reading, writing, and verbal communication in English.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Pass drug screen and criminal background check.
• Basic computer skills (data entry, timesheets).
• Direct support or caregiving experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 (non-driver) or 21 (driver).

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health and welfare of the individuals served.
• Assist individuals with medication and treatment plans as needed.
• Assist with home care and cleaning, reporting maintenance needs.
• Assist with money management, budgeting, banking, and shopping.
• Support daily living activities: meals, transportation, hygiene, and personal care.
• Prepare meals and maintain home and grounds.
• Complete required documentation following policies.
• Provide transportation for individuals served when requested.
