Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow menus, ensure quality and presentation, and maintain a clean kitchen while complying with safety guidelines.

You will interact with residents and staff to provide excellent service, support inventory, and perform additional duties as assigned. A high school diploma and prior cooking experience are preferred, with vaccination policies in place.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
