Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to join our team in a long-term care setting. You will prepare and cook nutritious meals, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation align with HCSG standards while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen.

Responsibilities include following planned menus, assisting with inventory, and delivering friendly resident service. A high school diploma and food-safety certification are required; prior cooking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• State/County required ServSafe or Food Handler certification.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
