Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus to ensure quality, taste, and presentation, while adhering to safety guidelines and maintaining a clean kitchen.

Positive interaction with residents and staff is essential. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with prior cooking experience preferred.

• Prior cook/food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain positive attitude and communicate with staff and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; keep kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
