Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will ensure quality, taste, and presentation while upholding food safety standards and a clean kitchen.

Responsibilities include following menus, assisting with inventory, and providing excellent customer service to residents, staff, and guests. Prior cooking experience and a positive attitude are valued, with opportunities for hands-on training and career

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook/food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must maintain cleanliness and follow safety guidelines.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
