Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus, maintain high food quality, and ensure safe kitchen operations while engaging warmly with residents and staff.

The position offers a starting pay of USD 17.00 per hour, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for hands-on training and career development within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests; provide excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
