Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services in Illinois is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide daily supportive and functional care to residents under nursing leadership. You will be a collaborative member of an interdisciplinary team focused on person-centered care and resident autonomy.

The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, meals, and documentation; maintaining dignity and safety; participating in care plans; and communicating observations to the nurse.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with residents and families.
• Strong sense of compassion and patient-centered care.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team under nursing leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supportive and functional care to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living and meals.
• Maintain residents' safety and comfort; respond to call lights and requests.
• Document care provided in clinical records.
• Observe and report changes to the nurse.
• Assist with care/service plans to improve residents' lives.
• Support resident involvement in daily activities and decisions.
• Assist with therapies and treatments as directed by licensed staff.
