Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide daily supportive and functional care to residents in a compassionate setting. You will work with an interdisciplinary team, documenting care and supporting resident involvement in daily activities while maintaining dignity and independence.

The role requires active CNA certification and eligibility for PA, IL, or MO registries, with a focus on person-centered care and safety in a high-quality senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in MO, IL or PA.
• Direct resident care experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with residents clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supportive and functional care to residents per care plans.
• Assist with activities of daily living and respond to call lights promptly.
• Observe residents and report changes to the nurse.
• Participate in care/service plans to improve resident well-being.
• Assist residents during meals and provide full assistance as needed.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families with compassion.
• Encourage resident involvement in daily activities and decisions.
• Assist with therapies and treatments under licensed staff.
• Document care provided in clinical records.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
