Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care in Rockwall, Texas. You will work under the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, and Director of Nurses to maintain high-quality resident care in a welcoming facility.

The ideal candidate has a Texas CNA license, at least 6 months of experience, and strong communication skills. Duties include rounds, patient safety checks, and assisting with daily activities in a respectful manner.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Texas.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical experience during training.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; able to interact with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing procedures to ensure quality care.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours thereafter.
• Verify resident identity before care or serving meals to ensure correct care.
• Report missing ID bands to the admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds and clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Keep water pitchers clean, filled, and within residents' reach.
• Handle other related duties as directed by Charge Nurse or Administrator.
