Job summary

Rockport Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine nursing care under supervision. The role emphasizes compassionate resident care, adherence to facility policies, and teamwork with nursing staff.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, hygiene, mobility, and comfort, recording observations, and reporting concerns to the Charge Nurse. Candidates must be CNA-licensed or in CNA training and fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in CNA program or hold CNA license.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical training.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interact calmly with residents, families and staff.
• In good health with emotional stability.

Responsibilities

• Make resident rounds at the start of each shift and every two hours.
• Assist with meals, feeding, and hydration for residents.
• Keep residents clean, dressed, and comfortable; change linens as needed.
• Document intake/output and report changes to Charge Nurse.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety rules.
