Job summary

COONEY in is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and services per resident care plans, under supervision.

The role involves greeting residents, recording observations, reporting changes, and assisting with daily activities to ensure comfort, safety, and dignity for residents in a clinical setting. You will work with nursing staff to maintain quality care.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information to managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments or meals using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Record entries accurately on flow sheets and charts.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the Nurse Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and report any disclosures.
• Assist with daily resident functions and mobility as trained.
• Prepare residents for medical tests and ensure safe transfer to facilities.
• Follow policies and procedures and cooperate with inter-departmental staff.
