Job summary

CNA (Healthcare) provides routine daily nursing care and services to residents according to care plans under supervision. You will identify residents, assist with daily living activities, and ensure comfort and safety on your shift.

The role requires observing and documenting changes, protecting patient privacy, and following facility policies. An active CNA license and CPR are preferred; a minimum of a 10th grade education is expected. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Licensed CNA in accordance with state laws; CPR preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before providing care.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Escort residents to rooms and introduce them to others.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report any disclosures.
