Job summary

Castlehcc is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide comprehensive resident care in daily activities and maintain safety and wellbeing. You will support meals, personal hygiene, mobility, vital signs, and comfort, while documenting observations and ensuring privacy.

The role requires CNA certification, CPR, and strong English communication. Experience in long-term care is preferred, with adherence to HIPAA and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CNA certification per state laws.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals and hydration.
• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming.
• Assist with ambulation, turning, and positioning.
• Monitor vital signs and intake/output.
• Ensure resident comfort and respond to calls.
• Document actions in forms and logs.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA and policies.
• Follow professional standards and legal requirements.
• Pursue ongoing education and training.
