Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a dedicated nursing assistant to provide routine care under supervision. You will follow policies, perform rounds, verify resident IDs, and assist with daily activities to ensure high-quality resident care.

Ideal candidates hold a valid CNA license, have at least six months of CNA experience or clinical training, and communicate clearly in English. Compassion, patience and teamwork are essential in this role at our facility.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Minimum 6 months of CNA experience or clinical experience during training.
• Ability to interact with residents, families and staff with tact.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours thereafter.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals are provided.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds and keep bedside/overbed areas clean.
• Keep water pitchers cleaned and within residents' reach.
• Carry out other related duties as directed by supervisors.
