Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under supervision to ensure high-quality resident care. The successful candidate will follow established policies and assist with daily tasks in a care facility.

The role requires CNA licensure, at least 6 months of experience, and strong communication with residents, families, and staff. Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and capable of working with ill and elderly residents.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CNA license and have related clinical experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must be patient, tactful and able to work with ill, elderly and emotionally upset residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care following facility policies and procedures.
• Make resident rounds at start of shift and every two hours to administer care.
• Verify resident IDs before care or meals to ensure correct resident is served.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables; maintain clean environment.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions/coordination staff immediately.
