Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under supervision to residents. You will follow established policies, perform rounds, verify resident identities, and assist with basic daily tasks in a compassionate environment.

The role requires a valid CNA license, at least 6 months of CNA or clinical experience, and strong English communication. A cooperative attitude, emotional stability, and a patient-centered approach are essential for success in

Qualifications

Must hold a valid CNA license.
Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical nursing experience.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Able to interact with residents, families and staff with tact.
Ability to work cooperatively with others.
Must be in good health and emotionally stable.

Responsibilities

Perform routine nursing care under supervision in accordance with policies and procedures.
Make rounds at the start of each shift and every two hours to deliver quality care.
Verify resident identity before care or meals to ensure correct treatment.
Report missing ID bands promptly to the admission coordinator.
Make beds and keep bedside and overbed tables clean and organized.
Ensure water pitchers are filled and within residents' reach and safely accessible.
