Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a dedicated certified nursing assistant to provide routine nursing care to residents under supervision. You will follow established policies and ensure high-quality care, including rounds every shift and regular checks of resident IDs before meals.

Ideal candidates hold a CNA license, have 6 months of experience or clinical CNA training, speak English well, and work harmoniously with staff, residents, families, and the public in a compassionate facility setting.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA license.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical CNA training.
• Desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, family, visitors and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with others.
• Must be in good health and emotionally stable.
• Able to relate to and care for ill, disabled, elderly and hostile individuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to provide care.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands immediately to admissions.
• Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are cleaned, filled and accessible.
