Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services is hiring for a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily supportive and functional care to residents in a compassionate setting. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team led by nursing, focusing on the resident as the director of their own care.

The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, supporting residents’ dignity, and documenting care while maintaining safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• CNA certification (state-specific) required or in process.
• Strong communication with residents and families.
• Experience in direct patient/resident care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents’ comfort and assist with activities of daily living.
• Support residents’ personal care and promote independence.
• Observe residents and report changes to the nurse.
• Participate in care/service planning to improve residents’ lives.
• Assist with meals and feeding when needed.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families.
• Support resident involvement in daily activities and decisions.
• Assist with therapies and treatments under licensed staff.
• Document care in clinical records.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
