Job summary

Ohio Living in Toledo, OH seeks a part-time Certified Nurse Assistant. You will provide high-quality daily nursing care, support residents in ADLs, and maintain care plans under supervision. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA in good standing on the Ohio Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry required.
• On-the-job training provided; prior experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Care management and daily resident care as instructed by the Charge Nurse.
• Maintain Plan of Care for the resident or patient.
• Assist with ADLs including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and hydration.
• Assist with care of the dying resident and post-mortem care.
• Observe for pressure areas and skin breakdown and report.
• Assist with nursing treatments as required.
• Provide rehabilitative/restorative procedures as required.
• Create a warm, calm environment and respond to resident calls promptly.
• Keep rooms, equipment, and work areas clean following infection control procedures.
• Attend care conferences and department meetings and share observations.
• Record ADL coding, intake/output, temperatures, weight in EMR, and report changes.
