Job summary

Ohio Living Rockynol is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for a full-time role. The CNA will provide daily resident care, support activities of daily living, and assist with comfort, nutrition, safety, and dignity for residents per established plans.

Responsibilities include monitoring health indicators, documenting in EMR, and participating in care conferences. English proficiency and Ohio CNA registry standing are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant in good standing with the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily resident/patient care following nursing procedures and as instructed by the Charge Nurse.
• Maintain the Plan of Care and assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) including personal hygiene, nutrition and mobility.
• Assist with care of the dying resident and post-mortem care as needed.
• Observe and report pressure areas and skin breakdown; monitor skin integrity.
• Support rehabilitation/restorative procedures as directed.
• Record ADL, intake/output, temperatures, weight in EMR per protocol.
• Attend care conferences and departmental meetings; contribute to quality and efficiency.
• Follow infection control standards and report hazards to Charge Nurse.
