Signature HealthCARE is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under the supervision of licensed staff. You will promote a compassionate environment, assist with ADLs, and support safety and dignity for residents in a 100-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state where the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible and adaptable to change.
• Function independently with personal integrity and ability to work with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident room regularly.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, and consumption as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents; maintain a safe, supportive environment.
• Support resident rights and choices within the care setting.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned areas and respond to call lights promptly.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff when requested.
• Participate in special projects and duties as assigned.
