Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant certification per state requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate within a nursing team and under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform ADLs within the scope of practice and resident’s care plan.
• Change bed linens and maintain supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and food intake.
• Routinely turn and position residents.
• Respect resident rights and preferences; maintain health and safety standards.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned areas.
• Respond promptly to call lights and assist residents.
• Assist in orienting/training other staff; handle additional duties as assigned.
