Job summary

Signature HealthCARE, LLC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under licensed supervision. You will promote a compassionate environment, perform ADLs, monitor vital signs, and support residents’ rights in a team-driven setting.

Responsibilities include documentation, transfers, grooming, and helping train other staff while maintaining high housekeeping standards and prompt attention to calls.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state where the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team under licensed staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to handle pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Function independently with integrity when working with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care duties under supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Promote a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment per policies.
• Perform ADLs within scope of practice and plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other metrics as assigned.
• Turn and position residents regularly.
• Support resident rights and choices in the care environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned areas.
• Answer call lights promptly and assist residents.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff.
• Perform other special projects and duties as assigned.
