Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in Florida.
• One year of long-term care experience or working with handicapped or developmentally disabled adults.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, toileting).
• Keep rooms clean: beds made, trash removed, high hygiene standards maintained.
• Assist with meals and feeding when needed.
• Take vital signs and report any changes to the nurse.
• Follow infection prevention and control measures per regulations.
• Document in CNA ECS flowsheet accurately and promptly.
• Conduct routine rounds to ensure safety equipment is functional.
• Provide timely incontinent care and reposition residents to prevent skin breakdown.
