Job summary

Westminster Oaks in Florida is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with procedures and supervisor directions.

You will preserve residents’ dignity, support residents’ rights, deliver good customer service, communicate effectively, and adhere to federal and state compliance regulations. Walk-ins seen before 2pm; must have application complete.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in Florida.
• One year of long term care experience or working with handicapped or developmentally disabled adults.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, toileting).
• Maintain high hygiene in rooms and ensure beds are made and trash removed.
• Assist with meals and feeding; take vital signs and report changes to the nurse.
• Follow infection prevention and control measures and complete CNA ECS flow-sheet documentation.
• Make routine rounds to ensure safety equipment is in place and functioning.
