Job summary

Westminster Communities of Florida is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for on-site, PRN home care in Tallahassee, FL. The CNA will perform ADLs, basic care, light housekeeping, and companionship under RN supervision, with shifts ranging from 2 hours to 12 hours.

Requirements include 1 year of CNA experience, an active Florida CNA license, and CPR certification (in person). Reliable transportation and flexible scheduling are preferred; overtime and benefits apply for part-time roles.

Qualifications

• 1 year Certified Nursing Assistant experience.
• Active State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• CPR certification (in person, not online).

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, toileting).
• Perform light housekeeping (trash, dishes) and laundry as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the home (bathroom, kitchen, living areas).
• Provide basic observation and medication reminders under RN supervision.
• Document tasks completed and report changes in condition to supervisor.
• Provide companionship and social engagement to clients.
