Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Morgantown, WV is hiring a CNA/Direct Care Giver to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities, promoting independence and participation in community activities. You will follow policies, document care, coordinate with nursing staff, and participate in activity planning while maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires a current CNA license, CPR/First Aid certification, and flexibility to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Must maintain working knowledge of all policies and procedures pertaining to the position.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Reports incidents involving residents, including care concerns or issues, to appropriate individuals and completes documentation.
• Must possess a current CNA license from the state in which the community is located and be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Communicates status and updates to nursing staff and family as needed.
