Job summary

Harmony Senior Services seeks a compassionate CNA/Direct Care Giver to assist residents with daily living activities and participate in community activities. You will promote independence, support emotional well-being, and help plan engaging programs under nursing supervision.

The role requires a valid CNA license, effective communication, strong organization, and willingness to work flexible schedules to meet resident needs. Training and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license from the State and in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be a contributing member of nursing team and follow instruction of supervisor.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified, or be willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents.
• Encourage residents to function at their highest level of independence and participate in activities.
• Conduct activities and provide meaningful experiences for residents.
• Assist residents with movement, meals, and transfers while maintaining safety.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergency alerts and document appropriately.
• Report incidents and care concerns to appropriate personnel and maintain daily logs and records.
