Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a compassionate CNA/Direct Care Giver to assist residents with daily living activities and to participate in community programs. You will support residents in routines, safety, and engagement while maintaining confidentiality and following policies.

Excellent communication and teamwork are essential as you coordinate with the nursing staff. Responsibilities include documenting care, responding to calls and emergencies, and helping with move-ins and transfers.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license from the State in which the community is located and in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and document accordingly.
• Report incidents and changes in resident status to supervisors and record in logs.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs and transport residents to dining and activities.
• Provide emotional support to new residents during move-in and assist with transfers.
