Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a CNA/Direct Care Giver to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities. You will promote independence, participate in activities, and document all relevant resident information.

The role requires a current CNA license, ability to lift, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license in good standing with the state Board of Nursing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents.
• Encourages independence and participation in community activities.
• Reports incidents and documents appropriately in logs and records.
• Assists with housekeeping, dining, and movement of residents as directed.
• Communicates resident status and changes to nursing staff and family as needed.
