Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a dedicated CNA/Direct Care Giver to provide high-quality assistance with daily living activities for residents. You will support mobility, meals, and social engagement, while maintaining safety and confidentiality across shifts.

The role requires a current CNA license, CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it within 60 days, and strong verbal and written communication. Weekend/holiday availability is often needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license from the State and be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and daily living tasks.
• Report incidents and document care concerns to the appropriate staff and complete documentation.
• Perform housekeeping duties and assist with dining and activities as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies and remain calm during emergencies.
• Support planning and conduct of resident activity programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and communicate status updates.
