Job summary

PACS is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with each resident’s assessment and care plan, under supervision. You will identify residents before procedures, assist with meals, and document observations accurately to support the care team.

Response to changes in condition, reporting to the Nurse Supervisor, maintaining privacy of health information, and cooperating with inter-departmental staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Licensed CNA per state laws; CPR preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information to managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments or meals using wristband/photo card.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts clearly and accurately.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident health information and report disclosures as required.
• Assist residents with daily activities and care as directed by care plans.
