Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide safe, accurate medication administration and compassionate daily care to our residents in Ozark, MO. The CMA will work under licensed nursing supervision, ensuring medications are administered correctly, residents are monitored, and care is delivered with dignity and respect

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of CMA program that meets state requirements.
• Active CMA certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of licensed staff.
• Verify resident identity before administration and document dosage and time.
• Monitor residents for medication responses and report adverse reactions.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care and intake/outtake.
• Assist with admission, discharge and transfer documentation.
• Support team members with needed tasks.
• Perform light housekeeping in resident rooms and common areas.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, and assist with tours as requested.
